It’s still a perfect time to plant in Bucks County.
Late fall offers warm soil, cool air, and consistent moisture — ideal conditions for establishing roots. Jerry added a few Hydrangea quercifolia (Oakleaf Hydrangeas), and this is exactly the kind of shrub that thrives with late-season planting.

Cut back perennials, look for gaps, and tuck in new structure before winter. Your garden will thank you in spring.

Chartreuse foliage that stays bright through the season and shifts to warm gold-orange in fall. A true color anchor in full sun.

🌿 Cotinus coggygria ‘Winecraft Gold’
Compact and tidy with glowing yellow foliage that doesn’t scorch easily. Reddish-pink plumes in summer give it that classic “smoke” effect.
Height: 4–6’ · Zones: 4–9 · Notes: Great for smaller gardens or layered borders.

A hybrid known for big, dramatic foliage and a wider color range — bronze-purple in spring, maturing to deep purples and reds with a bold fall show.
